Sicilian Sidewalk Cafe in Toronto

Sicilians has been my go to desert place for years. They make excellent crepes and belgium waffles (big portions too). My go to crepe is the Fantasia but I find a lot of their options to be great. You can even make a custom crepe or waffle with two seperate types of icecream, one topping and sauce. They also make a good coffee too! There is a reason they have been around for over 50 years. Highly recommended!

It's been a while since I've visited. A little pricey but friendly staff. Generous serving of icecream but it was nothing special and there we're fragments of ice in it.

This is and has been one of my favorite places in Toronto to buy, and eat-in or take-out fresh pastries, ice cream, or other edibles whenever I'm in the area. Simply put, there's no better place to get fresh, tasty sfogliatelli or cannolli made using a traditional recipe and enjoyed with one of their hot lattes or cappuccinos. If you're really in the mood for comfort food, or a mid-afternoon snack get yourself a plate with a sfogliatella, a cannolli and a piece of tiramisu, but you'll need 2 large lattes to wash them all down with! I only eat the pastries with ricotta cheese. Creme filling? Yuck. Enjoy!

This cafe is always on point. The staff are very frieny and the location is nice. The dessert is delicious. I especially enjoy the coffee ice-cream on top of waffle with brown bits. It's delicious and a must try. In my opinion, it's better than demetris. A must try!

Great food, amazing cannoli but a bit pricey

Great coffee and specialty coffee selection. I saw some of the crepes and waffle contraptions and definitely need to come back again to try it looked amazing. Highly recommended. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Lots of parking around.

Very good desserts and traditional seating, depending on the time and day you could find Italian families there or couples chilling for dessert. The cannoli is amazing and crepes are real good. Service is good.

Absolutely love their dessert waffles, so much so that I don't even share, although they are definitely large enough to do so! I also love their grilled chicken sandwich!!

Ok so if you're looking for the biggest crepe you have ever seen with delicious ice cream..this is your place. It does seem understaffed as everytime I've been there there has been only one server for about 30 to 35 people in the cafe, so come in with patience in mind. GREAT crepes and ice cream. Definitely a dessert or brunch place.

Great place to grab an after dinner dessert and coffee. Instead of having those at a local restaurant, leave, and make the short walk to sicilian. The ice cream is wonderful and so are their other deserts. The space is airy, but if it's summer time, you definitely want to sit outside on the patio and relax.

I like this place. Great little patio, good food, and lots of ice cream. Been going here ever since we moved to Toronto 19 years ago.

The food is good for the price, it's nice sitting out on the patio. I always come here when it's super packed though which means service has been very slow in my experience

Amazing service, super nice patio. Loved my espresso and tiramisu. Beautiful spot to people watch in little Italy in a busy corner with a little view on the CN tower.

The dessert 🍰 choices were extensive. If you have a big appetite, try the crepe or waffles. You will enjoy the large outdoor sidewalk patio on any given mild summer day. The service is slow but the staff are not to be blamed... They are just way under staffed.

Ice cream has a lot of room to improve. Not Sicilian at all.

Wonderful patio experience, with great espresso and delicious ice cream. Also serves sandwiches and hot table menu. Great place to people watch and enjoy a summer patio.

Great place. Staff are actually nice and I've grow up going to this place. The waffles are to die for and I also go get ice cream there at times. Service is normal, not fast or not to slow but still I enjoy going to this place, great job! (:

Convenient spot for some dessert. Nice atmosphere. Can get busy at times, staff may need to be reminded of orders. Crowds vary from old to young. Everything is very tasty.

Servers are great and attentive, and the food is made fresh. The sandwiches usually come with a few spicy olives on the side to go with the sandwich which is a nice touch.

best cake I ever had..

UPDATED: I recently returned to this cafe on a Friday (my last visit was a Saturday) and the experience was less than impressive. I was the only customer, the cook was the server and he had a friend in the back as they loudly discussed women (not the word they used). The food was lukewarm, the home fries I was so excited for tasted old, there was salt literally all over the restaurant and I couldn't find anyone to pay for the bill. I'm afraid I likely won't return. **Fantastic neighbourhood cafe. Why it's not more busy I don't know! The coffee was fantastic, the home fries were the best I have EVER had and the Eggs Benedict did not disappoint. The service is good and the price is perfect. I will definitely be back.

Lots of dessert options to choose from, almost all have ice cream in it. You're also welcome to build your own crepe or waffle, which is great. Open till 12 am so it's convenient.

Great experience and wow, what a selection of yummy foods! Went for the Bacio flavored ice cream crepe with bananas, peanut butter and nutella. Heaven!!!

Been coming here for years.. it was amazing back then as it is now.. just the service is a little slow and disorganized now

Wait staff is always cheerful and nice! The waffles and crepes are always delicious and you can change the ice cream if you are craving something different. The cannolis are fresh and perfect! Everything at Sicilian's is wonderful!

I prefer Breyers! I do like their tartufo though.

The service was good the ice cream was pretty good as well the waffle could have been cooked a little more. I had a tanti baci on a waffle. it had baci chocolate ice cream with Nutella and pieces of nuts

It was super packed! Everyone was watching Raptors game 6 vs the Bucks. Our server was incredibly nice and was always around despite a packed restaurant. Made sure our water's were always full and we had everything we needed. The icecream was delicious. I noticed quite a fewpeople order waffles with ice cream and they looked amazing. Definitely want to go back and try them! I'd strongly recommend visiting if you're in Toronto!

Crepes were hard, cold and dry, ice cream was alright. Servus was very friendly.

It was nice! I appreciate that they are open late which is an issue with most coffee places. I had the almond coffee which was made with almond milk and almond flavoring. I only had the coffee but they seem to also serve deserts, soft drinks, teas, sorbets and I think a few sandwiches. All in all I would return.

Good as usual they do not have the full range of products as their back freezer is not working they expect it to be fixed shortly

Been coming here since I was a child and the food and quality is still just as good. Try the cassata and the salted caramel ice cream as they're to die for. Old style place with a great atmosphere. Can't go wrong here. Great place for a coffee date

quite run down but the lady was careful in her service.

They had great food and there was a lot of entertaining activities happening around the restaurant so sitting on the patio was great and it felt like you were part of the community. Only downside to it was because there was an event happening they were very busy and it took them around 20 minutes to get water but we received our food fast
